A Magical Day at Cocon Kindergarten: Creating Stories with Little Imagination Experts

Hello, Flock!

We recently had the most enchanting experience at Cocon Kindergarten in Waldtrudering, Munich, where our very own author and founder, Evangelyn Welle, was invited to give a workshop on “How to Create Stories.” Let me tell you, it was a day filled with creativity, laughter, and a whole lot of imagination!

The kindergarten class was the cutest and most interactive audience we’ve ever had. Evangelyn had the pleasure of teaching these little ones how to write stories and expand their imaginations. And boy, did they take to it like ducks to water (pun intended)!

Together, we created a whimsical story about Lucky, our Super Hero, Butterfly-turning, Fire-breathing Cat-Dog. Yes, you read that right – a Cat-Dog! The kids were quick to point out that a half-cat, half-dog (or CaDog, as we called it) was simply not possible. But Evangelyn had the perfect response: “When writing YOUR story, anything is possible.” And just like that, their imaginations soared even higher.

The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the kids’ reactions and their boundless creativity. They weren’t just a fun bunch; they were incredibly thoughtful and talented too. At the end of the workshop, they surprised Evangelyn with their own artwork interpretations of our first book, “Most of all, you are loved.” It was heartwarming to see their unique takes on the story and characters.

We left Cocon Kindergarten with our hearts full and our spirits lifted, inspired by the incredible potential and creativity of these young minds. It was a reminder of why we do what we do at Polkaducks – to nurture and celebrate the magic of storytelling in every child.

Thank you, Cocon Kindergarten, for having us and for the wonderful memories. We can’t wait to see what stories these little authors will create in the future!

With love and imagination,
